This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use nymra-studio.com and The Back of the Bottle newsletter (the "Service"), how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR.

1. Who We Are

The Service is operated by Arctide (UK sole trader). For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. What We Collect

Newsletter subscribers. When you subscribe, we collect your email address. Optionally we collect your name if you provide it. Your email is processed by beehiiv (our newsletter platform).

Website visitors. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp) for security and analytics. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies. We may use first-party analytics aggregated across visitors.

Social media. If you interact with our content on TikTok, Instagram, Threads, or other platforms, those platforms collect data per their own privacy policies. We only receive aggregate metrics.

3. How We Use It

To deliver the newsletter you subscribed to. To respond to your messages. To understand which content resonates so we can publish better issues. To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis

Consent (your explicit subscription) for newsletter email. Legitimate interest for website analytics. Compliance with law for any retained records required by HMRC or other authorities.

5. Who We Share It With

Newsletter platform (beehiiv) for delivery. Email forwarding service (Cloudflare Email Routing) for inbound mail. Analytics provider for aggregate metrics. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention

Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Records required by HMRC are retained for the legal minimum (currently six years).

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, port, and object to processing of your personal data. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter via the one-click link at the bottom of every issue. For other requests, email [email protected].

8. International Transfers

Our newsletter platform and email forwarding may transfer data outside the UK. We rely on standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions where applicable.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the newsletter or a notice on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when changes took effect.
